Know He ain't a chicken, hope he ain't a turkey

Found the Guinea foul, both of them, one had spent 3 days under some stairs...Thanksgiving was a hoot. Two guinea foul, an Idjwi turkey, slow roasted, with sweet potatoes...everyone turned out, including the cats and the dogs.

will keep it brief for now, lots of crazy, borderline absurd things have happened the last few weeks, I'll share some of it this weekend, but for the time being, please join me in congratulating the People of Congo on the election (and subsequent investiture) of the Incumbent president, Joseph Kabila...

Most of us expected a meltdown, who would have thought that the elections would have gone off so succesfully?!
